The hub switched servers today. We went from a residential server in Tampa to a producion server in Minnesota. Thank Knowles for the old server; thank Al for the new one. Now as we all learned from the Spiderman movie, with power comes responsibility. We're asking all hub users to stop sharing "retail" material. You can get leet mp3z somewarez else. Last damn week.... Don't even know where to begin. Let's start with a hearty brown thanks to Dave and rawtime.com. The entire community appreciates the release of your stellar work. If you haven't heard, Dave has been kind enough to share audio and video from last week's Stubb's show. Truly a job well done, the hub is drooling over the pending DVD release. Thanks also to Chonz for ending our collective yearning for the Atlanta show, good shit dude. Finally, we'd like to welcome all the new users, thanks for hangin around. The Atlanta show over the weekend was pretty wild. Great setlist and intense energy from the band and crowd. Loved it, even though it kicked my ass. Hopefully we'll get a recording when the time is right, it should be enjoyed by all. There are some pics and quicktime clips from the show shared in the hub, all from the forum. Also, official hub rules are in effect and self-explanatory. We're still working on getting a few random folks logged in - sorry for the delay. And that's about it. Here's the greasey old news.....
The transition to a private hub has been fairly smooth, just about everyone is accounted for. No one misses the search bots, those fucks. There's some new stuff shared lately: the Carson Daily appearance from last week; August 2nd Rochester, NY; and August 4th Portland, ME. Hub rules will be posted by the end of the week... people like to share what they shouldn't. Old filthy news....
The hub is now private, if you're having trouble getting in, email admin@weenhub.com with your userID and password, and we'll get you in as soon as we can. Couple other things going on.... We're working on a web-based database for shows and a script-based show list for the hub server. Offical hub rules are needed and coming. There are rumors of a new hub server too. That's about it. The hub is no longer sharing the All Request show from July 22nd. Also, the hub will become private on Sept 1st. This means you must have a registered username in order to login. There are other policy changes coming too; should be cool. The Penn's Landing show from 8.9.2003 is around the hub. That's about it for news. Lots of registrations lately, and the main hub server is back to full strength, for now. Good times. OLD NEWS...
Fucking news... Knowles is hosting the hub because I break computers, sometimes professionally. Right now we have 35 users online sharing 1.29 TB (1,290 GB). The All Request show from last week is NO LONGER available on the hub. The May 3rd 2003, New Orleans video is around as well, in many formats.
